Shipping Policy

We ship exclusively on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays via UPS. We only offer free shipping on select items, which will be specified on the listing. If not specified, the customer is responsible for selecting the fastest shipping method to ensure live arrival of the plant(s). 

  • Orders placed Mondays through Thursdays will ship the following Monday.
  • Orders placed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sunday may ship the Monday after the following week.
  • Sometimes exceptions can be made and your order may shipped sooner.
  • If at any point we need to delay shipping, we will notify the customer immediately. 

Live Arrival Guarantee

A Live Arrival Guarantee is provided only when Next Day Air or Two-Day Air shipping services are selected and you purchased shipping insurance at checkout.

Ground shipping methods do not include a live arrival guarantee.

Your order is fully covered through InsureShield Shipping Insurance by UPS Capital ONLY if you purchased shipping insurance at checkout. 

InsureShield Shipping Insurance by UPS Capital covers:

• Porch piracy coverage for the mysterious disappearance of shipments after delivery
• Loss or damage to goods up to the invoice value, plus shipping

Buyer MUST provide pictures of the plant(s) and packaging in the event that the package was damaged during transit. These will be necessary to process a claim. Processing of claims can take up to 10 business days. 

In the event that no shipping insurance was purchased and there is an issue with your order, please contact us here or via email at rareexoticplantfinds.com no later than 6 hours of delivery. Please ensure to document damage with either pictures or videos and attach them to your correspondence. We will evaluate the situation and provide a resolution within 24 hours of receipt.

Buyer MUST bring the plant(s) inside as soon as possible after delivery, especially during extreme hot or cold weather conditions. Failure to do so will nullify Live Arrival Guarantee.

Shipping Responsibility

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, we are not responsible for carrier delays, mishandling, or transit interruptions unless shipping protection or insurance was purchased.

Weather Disclaimer

Plants are living things and may be impacted by environmental and transit conditions, including but not limited to:

• Extreme heat or cold

• Severe weather events

• Carrier delays or route disruptions

Rare Exotic Plant Finds LLC is not liable for damage, delays, or loss resulting from weather-related conditions unless shipping insurance was purchased and buyer provides the necessary information in order to process a claim through UPS Capital. 

Shipping Delays for Plant Safety

We reserves the right to delay shipment when weather conditions are deemed unsafe for plant transport. These delays are implemented to protect plant health and do not qualify for refunds or cancellations.
