Philodendron
Philodendron Aurea Micans
Philodendron Micans Aurea is a stunning variegated form of the classic Philodendron Micans. Like its counterpart, it features soft, heart-shaped, velvety leaves—but with added splashes of color that can include yellow, cream, soft orange, and even pink hues.
When grown in bright, indirect light, this plant can develop stronger pinkish tones through a process often referred to as “sun stressing.” This doesn’t harm the plant when done correctly; instead, it enhances the variegation and brings out those warmer, more vibrant shades that collectors love.
