Dregea Sinensis
Dregea Sinensis Variegated
This double headed Variegated Dregea Sinensis is a delicate, vining plant native to China and a current favorite of mine. It’s rather camouflaged foliage sun-stresses beautiful shades ranging from light blush pink to deep magenta-purple. When mature and happy, it produces small, white, hoya-like flowers that add to its charm.
This plant can be a bit dramatic if underwatered and does appreciate higher humidity, but it has proven adaptable and can thrive in relatively ambient conditions once established. Consistency is key with this one—it does not tolerate drastic changes well.

⚠️ Important Care Note:
Do not transfer this plant from soil to semi-hydro (pon) if it has already been established in soil. I personally experienced a loss doing this, so I strongly recommend keeping it in its original medium to avoid unnecessary stress.
Care Overview
☀️Light: Bright, indirect light (sun-stress enhances pink and purple tones)
💧Water: Allow to dry slightly between waterings; avoid prolonged dryness
🌡️Temp/Humidity: Prefers higher humidity but can adapt to ambient levels
🪴Soil/Medium: These do well in a coco perlite, tree fern, husk mix but I personally prefer to grow my mother plant in pon as it is easier for watering since these are thirsty plants.
Growth Habit: Trailing / vining
✨ A stunning, color-shifting vine for collectors who appreciate delicate foliage and are willing to keep conditions stable.
