Philodendron
Philodendron Micans Ferrari (aka) Aurea
Philodendron Micans “Ferrari,” commonly known Aurea, is a stunning variegated form of the classic Philodendron Micans. Ferrari might be a marketing technique but I originally bought the plant under “pink Ferrari”… so we are keeping it that way for the purpose of this sales post. (The price reflects that it is in fact a Philodendron Micans Aurea).
Like its classic counterpart, it features soft, heart-shaped, velvety leaves—but with added splashes of color that can include yellow, cream, soft orange, and even pink hues. When grown in bright, indirect light, this plant can develop stronger pinkish tones through a process often referred to as “sun stressing.” This doesn’t harm the plant when done correctly; instead, it enhances the variegation and brings out those warmer, more vibrant shades that collectors love.
